About Us

The owners, Rob & Tom Lister, have a strong involvement in rural activities including a Farm in Gloucestershire, active participation in country sports and an agricultural heritage that dates back 150 years to when R A Lister & Co was founded in Dursley, Gloucestershire in 1867 by their great-great grandfather Sir Robert Aston Lister to produce agricultural machinery.

With all this experience in both agriculture and telecommunications we really understand the heart of the problems faced by Farmers, Land owners and other rural businesses. This experience and understanding is the driving force behind Fieldtalk and our desire to bring reliable communication to businesses typically left to struggle in ‘not spots’.
